This weekends NHRA O’Reilly Thunder Valley Nationals at the Bristol Dragway saw Mustangs take 3 of the top 5 positions. While Melanie Troxel made the top position in her Charger copying Ashley Forces Atlanta win last month for a girl going home with the goods, pony drivers Mike Neff, Robert Hight and Ashley Force took 2nd, 4th and 5th respectively.

MADISON, Ill. (May 2, 2008) – After making the quickest pass of his nitro Funny Car career, Bob Tasca III grabbed the No. 8 provisional qualifying position on Friday for the NHRA Midwest Nationals at Gateway International Raceway.
“That last run was the quickest that I’ve ever made in this Funny Car,” exclaimed Tasca after exiting his Shelby Mustang at the Top End. “Chris Cunningham (crew chief) is a genius!”
