Ok everyone here it is! I have a 69 MACH 1 S code up for sale. This car has been stripped to bare metal (found no rust, and the floors, trunk, inner fender well's have not been replaced they are original) and painted back to its original beauty, Winter blue with PPG paint base coat clear coat system with white and gold Mach stripe kit and black out hood. Interior is white delux with fold down back seat, center console. Other options are A/C, tilt wheel, Automatic, 390 engine, PS, PDB, style steel wheels. Undercarriage is clean and detailed to factory painting.
The car comes with two engines. The matching numbers 390 sitting in a crate and the active rebuilt 1969 428 cj engine currently in its bay. The cj engine has a P.I. intake, and original cj exhaust. The engine has a K&N air cleaner but I have the original in storage. Only improvements to the car are the coil over shocks in front with global west and total control front suspension and an aluminum trans pan. The 428 cj engine has a cobra aluminum pan and had about $10k invested into the engine.
OK, I have seen rusted out s codes selling for $13k-15k, and driver cars that need an engine rebuild and paint selling between 23k-30k so why not stop wasting your time and buy one that is near perfect for $43.5k and get both the original engine and a 69 428 cj engine that was rebuilt and has less than 1500 miles. Car is in California where she was born and has never seen wet weather (always garaged).
I may also be willing to separate the 428 cj or 390 engine in the deal to lower the price.
