The Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup will make its Canadian debut this weekend with a field of thundering pony cars invading Mosport International Raceway as part of the Father’s Day Doubleheader. The Mosport round is just the second race in series history following the inaugural round at Road Atlanta in May.
Andrew Caddell of Graham, Washington, won the opening round race to take the championship lead over Jamie Slone. The two will have much more than just each other to contend with on the legendary 10-turn, 2.459-mile, natural-terrain circuit, as 18 Ford Mustang FR500S machines are expected to participate in the race weekend.
